Plucky is a creative production company specializing in motion graphics, animation, visual effects, branding, and full-service production across all media. Founded on February 11, 2014 by Jeff Marks and David Clayton, Plucky has grown from a two-person garage startup into a multinational creative enterprise with offices in Los Angeles, New York, and London.

The name "Plucky" means having determined courage in the face of challenges — a philosophy that defines how the studio approaches every project.

## History

Plucky was founded on February 11, 2014, when Jeff Marks and David Clayton launched the company from Clayton's garage. Marks brought a laptop; Clayton had an iMac borrowed from his wife. On their first day, they received two project assignments from directors Will Gluck and Tim Story for the films Annie and Think Like a Man Too. Workshop Creative provided early support by offering office space within their facility.

Over the following decade, Plucky expanded from that garage into a multinational creative enterprise with three offices across two continents, a digital services division, and an original content production arm.
